Hey Sarah,
I just want to congratulate the lighting designer for Little Women (I think it was Chris Roberts?). Every time I look at the slideshow of Little Women on the website, I am struck by the lighting and how evocative and lyrical it was.
(I was very impressed by Little Women – it was a very polished production, very engaging. Along with the usual things, brilliant acting by Caileigh & Rhiannon, all kinds of excellent singing, another thing I remember being impressed by was your speaking voice – your tone and accent was very convincing of the character and the period.)
I feel like upcoming Secret Garden is a great focused cast – I really believe this will be the best Secret Garden yet.

Hi,
I am writing this note to thank-you for the wonderful production of Little Women last weekend. I was amazed at the talent pool you have in your company. Many strong male actors and singers are hard to find in one show. But you had at least five. As well, your female leads were professional. Jo March, was incredible. Beth March was outstanding, both performers professional quality. Meg March was convincing and Amy March was terrific, not to mention Marmee who brought incredible energy to the stage and sang with the most beautiful voice.
I have spent a bit of time going to see local productions and they always have nice costumes and sets, but they didn’t seem to care about the staging so much and the characters were never believable. Your production was downtown. What I mean by that, is that it should have been on a Mirvish stage. Excellent direction and excellent talent. I think what I have discovered about your production in comparison to other companies is that they can’t buy your eye, and your direction. You can’t dress up a present with a pretty set if the gift isn’t top quality, and other companies are suffering in their final product. Aurora Performing Arts Group has a fine quality gift to share.
I have contacted Newmarket Theatre and purchased tickets to the next two productions.
Thank-you

It is with true sincerity and tears of healing that I want to thank you for all that you contribute into our children’s lives. Your dedication to APAG, the children and the Art of performing shows every time we prepare for a show, as it goes forward and it finishes.
My tears were many with Little Women. It touched a core with me personally with the recent loss of my Grandfather and then my Father six weeks after.
The love, passion and dedication invoked by the Kyle family and the Kyle family women and the Marsh family has catapulted me forwarded to open another chapter of my life.
I thank you for the healing journey you, your family, the girls and APAG have set me on!
I am truly blessed to be a part of the APAG family!

We loved Little Women! You all did such an amazing job! We laughed out loud and couldn’t stop the flow of tears. Beth dying was very tastefully done. Beautiful voices and a very talented cast all around. Loved the way that Caileigh covered when the desk fell over. She did such a fantastic job as Jo, very talented and professional, totally blew Wynonna out of the water! Rhiannon was the perfect Beth and her voice is like an Angel’s! Jessica and Kyla were most excited about seeing you on stage. Your voice takes our breath away. Kyla was very touched when she bruised her leg on the smoke machine and you sought her out, to make sure that she was OK. I think that is why she didn’t cry. You do a wonderful job with the children. Thank you so much!

Thanks to you and your cast for a superb performance. I wept and smiled and wept again and was so touched. When Beth died I could not stop crying. I cried because I haven’t spoken to my sister in twenty years. The way your two daughters played these roles was so real and loving and I ran from your show before speaking to them. They are both amazing singers and actresses. I can not wait to see them again on stage. I had to run from the show because I wanted to call my sister. The story of Little Women really does talk about the value of family. I wish I had an older sister like Jo March. Thank-you for putting on shows that reach out and touch audiences. You melted my cold cold heart.

Sarah,
You are the best! I can’t believe you are taking the time to even write this email. I can’t tell you how much it means… we are so proud of Aiden… what a huge thing for him to do… your suggestions were just perfect about easing him into this. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Also, I am so impressed with you and your girls… the talent in your family is just amazing. I so loved the musical… 3 days in a row… I’ve been singing the songs last night and today. What a great story. Everybody that I brought to the show loved it and couldn’t believe the talent we have here in Aurora.
Kudos!!!
Thanks,
Carey

Hi Sarah
We have never been more entertained or moved by a performance. We handed the tickets you gave us to some of the families who have loved ones in cancer treatment or are terminally ill.
The way you portrayed Beth dying on a sunny beach was so tasteful and made the last moments of her gentle life so touching. She never over played it and was incredibly professional. This actress was sweet and extremely talented. She made the people that we brought realize that every moment of their lives should be spent with kind hearts.
I don’t know what to say about your leading lady, Jo March. She was incredible. Every moving side of the role was covered. I have seen all the movies and she could be filmed as Jo March in any one of them. What a versatile actress with a powerful and beautiful voice.
I was moved by Professor Bhaer, enchanted by Rodrigo, chilled by a Troll, delighted by Meg and Young Amy and I smiled and so wished I was young enough to be courted by Laurie and Mr. Brooke.
Thank you once again for a terrific professional experience.

Sarah,
I just wanted to send you a quick note of congratulations to you. I was at the opening performance with my family and we all thought it was a great show!!
You have very talented girls and they performed well on opening night! The rest of the cast also did very well under your strong direction. My sister (Pat MacWillian) recognized you on stage and said she knew you from the school.
Rachel is very thrilled to be part of the company and is already looking forward to Treasure Island. (and looking at her lines!!!)
Thanks, Don Sanderson.
