Its youth program mission is dedicated to igniting and fuelling the artistic spirit of youth by developing, empowering and advancing young artists. APAG works towards this mission by targeting excellence in stage productions, choral performances, education in voice and drama, which promotes artistic quality, arts advocacy, self-determination, leadership, volunteerism and community service, facilitated by a professional director and a quality theatre arts organization.

AURORA OPERA COMPANY CHILDREN’S CHORUS ( AOCCC) Grades 1-12

• AOCCC is an elite by audition only performance choir dedicated to educating, nurturing and providing opportunities for children to express their musical abilities. We offer professional instruction and unique opportunities. Children are united through the study and performance of great choral music and discover that music can be a bridge to compassion, consideration, commitment, tolerance, discipline and co-operative teamwork. In addition to giving performances, choristers gain valuable training in musicianship, self-discipline, confidence and poise. Singers enjoy meeting and getting to know other children who share their interests. We are committed to fostering a life long enjoyment of singing.

AOCCC DATES & PRODUCTIONS: These participants will participate in a Christmas coffee house concert, a spring concert coffee house and they will be offered a chance to participate in adult production of Cinderella. Lead roles and secondary lead roles for Oliver will be chosen from AOCCC

TUESDAYS: 6:00-6:45

• Please note dress rehearsals for concerts and productions will fall on a weekend.

Our Cherubs choir is an introduction to the joy of singing. A singing program dedicated to educating, nurturing and providing a rewarding introduction for young for children to express their musical abilities. Singers enjoy meeting and getting to know other children who share their interests. We are committed to fostering a life long enjoyment of singing. TUESDAYS : 4:30-5:00
