THE
APAG welcomes adults interested in performing in musicals, operas and choral music. Our performances provide an excellent opportunity for all backgrounds and levels of experience and ability. APAG will help you develop your vocal talents and dramatic skills. Participants will learn voice techniques to help produce a stronger, healthier sound, manage stage fright, learn how to define character and character-based singing. Adults have opportunities in both solo and ensemble singing in all our main stage productions and choral concerts.
The actors may get all the glory but it takes the talents of many volunteers and crew members to make our shows successful. Join in on the exciting behind-the-scenes action. We are always seeking volunteers to help APAG continue to provide the high quality theatrical experience that our patrons expect from us. Whatever your talent, we would be delighted to welcome you.

Youth Performance Academy JK - 6
A performance based program designed to mentor the future leaders of our community. The goal of the program is to ensure that each participant leave with a greater knowledge of the artistic world and the confidence to explore their own artistic abilities by learning ways to overcome stage fright, develop characters, stage presence, dance and co-ordinaiton and to learn song repertoire.
Stage Door Players Grades 7 - 10
A performance based program designed for young artists to explore musical theatre and receive instruction in contemporary acting, vocal production, stage movement, and dance. Students are taught by experienced qualified practicing artists. This skills-building program is specially designed to help high school age students develop self-confidence, a work ethic, and enjoyment in the performing arts.
Young Adults Conservatory Ages 16-19
The conservatory program is designed with busy high school scheduling in mind. Its goal is to challenge performers artistically while providing a supportive environment in which to develop talent.
Aurora Opera Company Childrens Chorus
AOCCC is an elite all ages treble performance choir providing world class choral, musical and performance training to young people. PArticipants perform regularly in the professional level adult company productions as well as on their own in choral concerts.
APAG offers unique educational training and performing opportunities for aspiring youth performers. In a fun and engaging environment students focus on acting, singing and dancing.
Classes are lead by supportive, qualitfied professionals with notable accomplishments who provide participants with opportunities for artistic exploration and self-expression.
APAG is dedicated to igniting the artistic spirit of youth by developing, empowering and advancing young artists.
